personae

Marius Soluna is a multidisciplinary artist and Butoh practitioner with over twenty years of experience, exploring the intersection of visual poetry, embodied awareness, and the transformative potential of dance.

His encounter with Butoh began in 2005 at the Subbody School in the Indian Himalayas — a practice rooted in the subconscious, in co-creation, and in deep listening to resonance.

Further studies with various teachers across Europe led him into ritual-based and shamanic approaches, opening pathways to the transcendental, the ancestral, and the collective body.

Ever since those became a essential tools and doorways for the journey within — to unfold layer after layer and get in touch with its embedded memories, to shed light on one owns mystery and being able to express it into the empty space.

Since 2020, he has been developing his own evolving methodology. His work unfolds through performances, workshops, and immersive seminars across Europe.
